CCON/MMCSNA
Officer Meeting: January 12, 2007

• Alumni dinner is scheduled for sometime in April. We still need to call the more
recent alumni from 1999 on.
• Discussed Roberts Rules for Order: this can be useful for our group to work
together better and in turn this will help us in our future careers.
• In the future we plan to use the Ewen Center for meetings, but this room does
need to be reserved.
• We raised $200 dollars from our bake sale. That puts our grand total up to $1,200!
• Our future goal is to try to get all officers to go to conventions
• By-laws are complete
• Dave is a part of new student orientation. He will promote CCON/MMCSNA to
new students to hopefully get others involved.
• Remember to send Sharon your blurbs before January 22, 2007!
• Also please e-mail schedules to Dave. We are trying to have our next general
meeting on Friday February 9, 2007.

Our main focus is promoting CCON/MMCSNA

--First Aid Kit fundraiser: Sharon is waiting for replays. We are planning to set up
booths around campus and by the daycare center to target parents

--We are going to try to buy stethoscopes as a group order so we get a discount, try to
involve others to promote CCON/MMCSNA

--As the semester starts we can spread the word about CCON/MMCSNA to fellow
nursing students

--We will continue to make flyers and post them around campus

--The CCON/MMCSNA bulletin board in MMC will be complete this Tuesday,
January 16, 2007
