November 3, 2006 SNA Meeting Minutes

Flyers in the Dorms
Can put an unlimited amount of flyers in the dorms
Put flyers on every door or under door

Ashley and Dave will contact Resident Advisor for more information

Generating Funds for SNA:

Johnson & Johnson: J&J donates scrub tops through Break through to
Nursing
(BTN programs), would they be willing to allow us to have some for
selling as fundraisers?
Stethoscopes: Some other colleges have Litman stethoscopes for sale and
even do
engraving. Maybe Litman would be willing to give a discount if there
was a big, bulk order from all the nursing students.
First Aid Kits from J&J
CPR Masks

Sharon will contact J&J about First Aid kits and Litman about
Stethscopes
Jennifer S. will contact J&J about Scrub tops

Bake sales
Generate a lot of money
Churros, Pies
A sheet was passed around on which people could write what they would
possibly
want to provide for the bake sale.

Next Meeting
Officers Meeting: Friday November 10, 2006 at 12:00 pm in project rooms
next to the Cyber Cafe.
At next meeting we will look at the bylaws and talk about the bake
sale.

Bylaws were briefly discussed
Officers were given back to students. We are to revise them and return
them to Deb
and Sharita.
Everyone was given a handout of common bylaw mistakes, all should go
over and
familiarize themselves with it so it can be discussed at the next
meeting.
Sharon will type up the Bylaws and back it up on a disk.
