Next General Meeting: Friday, November 3, 2006 at noon-1:00pm in the student lounge
Closed ballet elections held today
- Members paid dues and turned in applications: once applications are processed, it will take 4-6 weeks for card and newsletter
- Results of election:

Pre-nursing Class Reps: Ashley Raush and Sara Phillips
- We are trying to recruit class reps for sophomore, junior and senior nursing students
- Breast Cancer Awareness Booth will be Thursday, October 26, 2006 from 10:30-1:30
12-1:30 Sara will be helping out
10:30-12 Sharon will be helping out. Dave said he will be at the booth the whole time. Volunteers will be handing out ribbons and brochures
- Meetings will be held twice a month for officers and once a month for members
- National conventions: mid-year November 2-5 th and annual April 11-15 th
- Wisconsin Convention is February 2-4 th
- This Friday Shareen, Deb, and Shanita will be meeting to discuss bi-laws. They have found that many bi-laws are non-existent. They will give the SNA members feedback before making any permanent changes. Bi-laws will probably be in limbo for one to two months
- Plan to check out how our SNA can get a spot on crossroads
- Plan to have website up and running very soon
- Fundraising Events:
Move bake sale to December, otherwise we are going to go by the schedule of the flyer
Investigate volunteering at Children's Hospital- contact their volunteer department
