While Miss Hendricks
was employed by Columbia Hospital, she had the title of “Principal
and Director of Nursing.” She was graduated from Wheaton College,
Wheaton, Illinois and from the Presbyterian Hospital Hospital School
of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois.
