Where you go to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or to submit corrections to a submitted FAFSA. U.S. Department of Education site where you apply for your Personal Identification Number (PIN) which serves as your electronic signature on many federal student aid websites.

The U.S. Department of Education Ombudsman helps students resolve disputes with lenders regarding their federal student loans. The National Student Loan Data System allows borrowers to view their detailed federal student loan history.  This will show a student all federal loans from all educational institutions they have attended in their lifetime. The U.S. Department of Education site that handles all processing activities related to current students who are borrowing federal direct loans.  Entrance Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Notes are completed on this site.

After you graduate and enter repayment on your federal student loans, this site will be where you can manage your loans online.  You can make online payments, review your loan details, and evaluate available repayment options.
