Student Nurses Association (SNA)

Columbia College of Nursing maintains an active chapter of the Student Nurses Association (SNA), in association with the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA), with the goal of making a difference in our college and our community.

The NSNA's mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession.

Service/Advocacy Activities

  • Prepared Sandwiches (Milwaukee Guest House)

  • Preparing healthy snacks (Ronald McDonald House)

  • Blood Drive

  • Arts and craft drive for St. Ann Center for intergenerational Care

  • Socks and underwear drive for homeless veterans

  • Toy and food drive for the Humane society of Milwaukee

  • Nurses Day at the Capitol

Fundraising Activities

  • T-Shirt Sales

  • Sweatshirt Sales

  • Various Walks (Breast cancer, AIDS)

  • Bake Sales

  • Walking Taco Sales

  • Spring Raffle Event


  • “Buddy Program” for upper class to mentor incoming students
