Columbia College of Nursing is proud to support the men and women in uniform who have served our country. It is the responsibility of the student Veteran to be aware of their eligibility for federal and state veteran’s benefits and follow all program requirements. Student Veterans are asked to contact the Financial Aid Office to initiate the procedure to have their Veteran’s Affairs (VA) benefits processed. Students will be required to complete the Application for Certification of Veterans Affairs Education Benefits before each semester they wish to have VA Education Benefits apply.
Columbia College of Nursing also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Columbia College of Nursing agrees to provide Yellow Ribbon Program contributions of $1,500 to the eligible individuals that apply during the academic year. Students are required to submit a signed, completed Yellow Ribbon Benefit Application to the VA Certifying Official. Student applications will be considered, as they are received. When the document is processed, the student will be notified if they are eligible to receive benefits through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
